Only sentences containing mandatory language (shall, must, may not, no later than, within N) are reproduced — the full document is in custody and is the controlling text. • COMBINING LOCAL PROFESSIONALISM PANEL EAST AND LOCAL PROFESSIONALISM PANEL WEST O R D E R WHEREAS, pursuant to Administrative Order 2024-12, a Local Professionalism Panel (LPP) exists in the First Judicial Circuit; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Amended Administrative Order 2024-13, the LPP is composed of two subpanels, LPP East and LPP West, each subpanel has its own Chair, and it has become necessary to combine LPP East and LPP West into a single LPP; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Code for Resolving Professionalism Referrals (Code), the Chief Judge appoints the LPP Chair and LPP members and determines the number of members to serve on the LPP; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Code, LPP members serve staggered 3-year terms, and the Chief Judge or the Chief Judge’s designee must appoint members as necessary to fill LPP vacancies. • The former Chair of LPP East and Chair of LPP West shall now serve as Co-Chairs of the combined LPP for the duration of their respective terms of appointment. 3. • The number of members of the LPP (including the Co-Chairs) shall be no fewer than six and no more than 10. 4. • Pursuant to the requirements of the Code, the LPP must file a written report with the Chief Judge, the Florida Supreme Court, and The Florida Bar identifying all professionalism referrals received against a member of The Florida Bar in June and December of each calendar year.
