Should the Court want electronic copies of the pleadings and/or case law, the JA will email what is requested and in what format. Be sure to include the location of the hearing on your Notice of Hearing. Any hearings submitting evidence shall be IN PERSON in Hearing Room 5D-1. (please let me know ahead of time, if you plan to appear in person) All motion hearings are held in hearing room 5D-1, 5th Floor, Blue Elevators. Judge Sherman requires TWO identical bound hard-copy sets of pre-marked exhibits for evidentiary hearings at least 7 days out — and anything over 50 pages must arrive as bound hard copies by mail.
Judge Hafele: exhibits in chambers three days before any evidentiary proceeding, courtesy copies two days out, all hearing materials three business days ahead, and interpreter requests seven days in advance.
Judge Mullinax wants physical copies of all documents and exhibits for in-person hearings/trials provided five days in advance; orders in Word (no macros/columns/tabs) within 48 hours, final judgments with a 3-inch top-right margin.
