Verbatim from the operative section of Eleventh Circuit administrative order , harvested 2026-08-02; whitespace normalised only. • The above fee shall be assessed in cases of the appointment of a private mediator through the Mediation Division’s Rotating List of Certified Mediators. • The Mediation Conference shall not exceed three (3) hours, unless the parties mutually agree. • The total mediation fee incurred shall be equally divided between the plaintiff(s) and defendant(s), except as herein after provided; • The mediation fee shall be waived in cases of economic hardship or indigency for Miami-Dade County in cases where the County is a party. • A private mediator may waive his or her fee and perform pro bono.
