Verbatim from the operative section of https://www.jud12.flcourts.org/Portals/0/AdminOrders/Section02/02-20-2.pdf, harvested 2026-08-02; whitespace normalised only. • The Clerk of any Court within the Twelfth Judicial Circuit shall not accept any deposition for filing by unless the conditions of Fla.R.Civ.P. 1.310 are met. • The preparation, signing and service of the Notice of Filing of the deposition, or a waiver of said notice, shall be done by the party, witness or attorney for either. The Notice of Filing shall include a specific description or reference to the matter currently pending before the Court in which the contents of the deposition must be considered. • Filing a deposition solely for the purpose of impeachment of a witness or party is not permissible. There must be a specific issue pending before the Court in which the contents of the deposition must be considered.
