If the court believes more time is needed then requested or materials not received, the hearing will be cancelled and the parties will need to reset the hearing. While responsive memoranda are not required for many motions, they are highly appreciated and greatly cut down the length of hearings. There is a maximum of two case law for UMC and Special Set hearings.
