Source of truth

The Court reviews hearing materials in advance via mail or drop of seven days prior to the scheduled hearing. Please keep that in mind when estimating the amount time you request. If the court believes more time is needed then requested or materials not received, the hearing will be cancelled and the parties will need to reset the hearing. While responsive memoranda are not required for many motions, they are highly appreciated and greatly cut down the length of hearings. There is a maximum of two case law for UMC and Special Set hearings.
