You must first file a motion for the continuance of a hearing with the Clerk of Court. Do not call chambers and leave a message with your request as a filed motion is mandatory. The motion must indicate the reason for the request, the date and time of the upcoming hearing, and whether the opposing party is in agreement with the request. If the opposing party has not responded to your request, the motion shall so indicate. The moving party must include their complete address and telephone number on all motions.
