Verbatim from https://www.ca.cjis20.org/pdf/ao/ao_6_4.pdf, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • The following procedures shall be used to implement the Child Restraint Safety Program: • The Clerks of the circuit courts throughout the Twentieth Judicial Circuit shall provide an Alternative Sentence Affidavit for persons charged with a child restraint violation . • If the offender elects to attend the program, each Clerk of the circuit court shall collect from each offender such fees as are authorized by state and local law. • The Southwest Florida Safety Council Inc. shall notify the Clerks of the Courts of either the successful completion of the program by each offender or the offender's failure to complete the program. ~ Upon notification of the successful completion of the program, the penalty specified in • Chapter 3 18 and any associated costs shall be waived and the assessment of points shall also be waived.
