Only sentences carrying mandatory language are reproduced — the full order is in custody and is the controlling text. • DELAYING SEPTE MBER2017 TAYLOR ANDLAFAYETTE GRAND JURY SUMMONS --------------------- WHEREAS, the Chief Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit is mandated to "regularly order the convening of the grand jury for a term of 6 months," pursuant to section 905.01(3), Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, the emergency circumstances created by Hurricane Irma have rendered it necessary that the grand juries to be impaneled in Taylor County and Lafayette County, summoned to appear on September 11, 2017, must be delayed. • It is therefore ORDERED that those previously summoned to appear on September 11, 2017, shall now appear as follows In L afayette County, the prospective grand jurors are now hereby commanded to appear on September 18, 2017, at 8:45 a.m. at the Lafayette County Courthouse, Second Floor, 120 West Main Street, Mayo, Florida 32066. • If the Lafayette Clerk of the Court has not already done so, it shall notify the prospective grand jurors as soon as possible in writing of these changes: and In Taylor County, the prospective grand jurors are now hereby commanded to appear onSeptember22 , 2017, at 8:30 a.m. at the Taylor County Courthouse, ThirdFloor, 108North Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida 32348. • If the Taylor Clerk of the Court has not already done so, it shall notify the prospective grand jurors as soon as possible in writing of these changes.
