Verbatim from the order, captured live 2026-08-03 from the Duval Clerk's store; whitespace normalised only. • Intrastate Fugitives CLERK - cmCUtr COURr Cases of all fugitives detained for return to another Florida county will be assigned a county court case number by the clerk and shall remain in the division in which the defendant first appeared. • In the event there are no l~cal bharges pending against such a defendant, said case shall be continued for not more than 21 days beyond the defendant's first appearance, in order to oversee the status of the return of the defendant to the appropriate county. • Said case shall remain with the appropriate division until the court determines that the return of the defendant to the demanding county has been accomplished or is no longer necessary. • At the defendant's 24-hour appearance, the court shall assign to the defendant an appearance, date in the Circuit court according to arraignment dates assigned to those defendants arrested for felonies. • No bond shall be set on any such fugitives except upon proper motion before and determination by a Judge of the Circuit Court. ------..
