Verbatim from the order, captured live 2026-08-03 from the Duval Clerk's store; whitespace normalised only. • (A) That, from this date forward, any newly submitted petition for writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from involuntary placement shall be tiled by the Clerk of Court in the Circuit Civil Mental Health file that contains the petition for involuntary placement of the same person (rather than in a new, separate general Circuit Civil file in the Law Department). • (B) That, immediately upon the tiling of a petition for writ of habeas corpus, the Clerk of Court shall ensure that the Mental Health tile containing such new petition is reviewed immediately by the Circuit Civil Judge who is on duty that week to handle Baker Act cases, unless such Judge 7 J ir __ I I Y -- 1 of 2 -- is not available, in which case, the Clerk of Court shall promptly request any other Circuit Civil Judge available to review the tile.
