Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1981-02 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • Defendants charged with those violations of Rule 16D-2.02(3) inclusive through 16D-2.10(6) shall have ten (10) days from the issuance of said Misdemeanor citation within which to appear at the Misdemeanor Department and dispose of said Misdemeanor citation as hereinafter set forth. • If the Misdemeanor citation is not disposed of as provided in A., the defendant shall be given a court date. • It shall be contempt of the court, and punishable as such for any knowing and wilful violation of this Order, or for the disposition of any Misdemeanor case in a manner clearly inconsistent with the provisions of this Order, unless prior approval is secured therefore from the Chief Judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
