Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1987-08 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • Office under Florida Statute 327.72, shall obtain a copy of the unpaid citation from the Clerk's Office, and the original citation shall remain in the Clerk's Office. • The Marine Patrol Officer shall bring the copy of the citation. to the State Attorney' 3 Office where the filing of'the charge will be handled as a walk-in. • The State Attorney's Office shall file charges under Florida Statute 327.72, for failure to pay a fine, specified in Florida Statute 327.73. • The defendant must attend his court appearancei however, at that time he may present proof of payment and receive a withhold of adjudication plus payment of appropriate court costs.
