Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1989-07 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • Pursuant to Florida Statute 796.08, as amended by Section 44 of Chapter 88-380, Laws of Florida, relating to screening for sexually transmissible diseases, the Legislature has provided that persons convicted of prostitution under Section 796.07 shall be required to undergo Sexually Transmissible Disease (STD) screening under the direction of the Department of Health and Rehabilitative • Those who test positive shall be required to submit to treatment and counseling as a condition of release, Ig. • In implementing the above-referenced statute, it is ordered that court procedure shall be as follows: • The Clerk of Court shall record those individuals who have been convicted of prostitution or procuring another to commit prostitution with himself under the provisions of Florida Statutes _ • Rehabilitative Services a list of convicted misdemeanants, along with their case number or docket number, who have been convicted of said offenses and thus are required to be tested by the _ l • The Clerk of Court, having prepared such a list, shall deliver the same to the Sheriff. b._ The Sheriff shall deliver said list to the Duval • The Duval County Jail Clinic shall forward said i list to the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Q • I -- 1 of 2 -- |i*€éi¥6€’? ` ° ·"‘ °FFig)@L'R€Lq¤@B§curt Administrator is hereby appointed as the l official recipient of all test izsulte which shall be provided to
