Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1996-10 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • Procedure, with the exception that a General Magistrate shall not preside over shelter hearing under Rule 8.257(h) and § 39.402, Florida Statutes or over an adjudicatory hearing under either §39.507 or § 39.809, Florida Statutes; • IV-D cases, and all cases referred individually by any Circuit Civil Division, shall be referred to one of the following individuals in their capacity as General Magistrate and / or Support • DICK. 2) The General Magistrate / Support Enforcement Hearing Officer shall assign a time and place for proceedings as soon as reasonably possible after the reference is made and give notice to each of the parties involved either directly or by directing counsel to file and serve a notice of hearing. 3) Notice to all parties shall be provided in bold face, 14-point Times New Roman or • (ii) the Boulevard Court Facility; and (iii) the kg County Courthouse, the notice language shall state: “If you are a person with a disability who needs any accommodation in order to participate in this proceeding, you are entitled, at no cost to you, to the provision of certain assistance. • Please contact the ADA Coordinator at (904) 630-2564 or crtintrp@coj.net, at least 7 days before your scheduled court appearance, or immediately upon receiving this notification if the time before the scheduled appearance is less than 7 days; if you are hearing or voice impaired, 2 -- 2 of 3 -- • OR BK 15722 PAGE 198 call 711.” (b) For all notices compelling appearance at the Nassau County Courthouse, the notice language shall state: “If you are a person with a disability who needs any accommodation in order to participate in this proceeding, you are entitled, at no cost to you, to the provision of certain assistance. • Please contact the ADA Coordinator at (904)548-4600 (then press 0) at least 7 days before your scheduled court appearance, or immediately upon receiving this notification if the time before the scheduled appearance is less than 7 days; if you are hearing or voice impaired, call 711.” 4) Counties within the State of Florida may have different rules. • Parties should consult the Clerk of the Court or Family Law Intake Staff relating to this procedure. 5) All other Amended Administrative Orders No. 96-10 previously entered and addressing the same subject matter are hereby vacated and superseded. 6) This Twelfth Amended Administrative Order 96-10 shall be recorded by the Clerk of the Court, in the Official Records of Duval County, in the State of Florida, and shall take effect immediately and remain in full force and effect unless and until otherwise ordered by this Court.
