Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 1998-06 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • That, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties in writing, or upon proper notice and timely objection made within 15 days of the Order of Referral in accordance with Florida Family • Law Rules of Procedure l2.740(c), the mediator’s fee shall be in the amount of $30.00 per person per session, effective April 1, 1998. • That, unless a party timely objects and makes a sufficient showing of inability to pay based upon a financial afiidavit or other financial infomiation available to the Court, the parties shall be found to have the ability to pay the mediation fees. • That the parties shall share equally in the cost of compensating the mediator, unless the presiding Judge apportions the fees between the parties differently, and states each party’s share ofthe fees in the Order of Referral. -- 1 of 2 -- • That in Title IV-D cases, mediation costs shall be assessed only against the nonprevailing obligor upon a determination by the Court that the nonprevailing obligor has the ,4 ability to pay such costs. §61.183(l), Fla. • That this Administrative Order shall take effect on April 1, 1998, and remain in effect • That this Administrative Order shall be recorded in the Official Records of Duval, Clay • N and Nassau Counties in the State of Florida, and copies shall be firmished to the Clerks of each
