Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 2006-02 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • The taking of annual leave shall not interfere with the efficient administration of a judicial officer’s docket. • Before anyjudicial annual leave is taken, each Judge must notify the ChiefJudge of his or her intention to take judicial annual leave and must indicate the specific date(s) for which annual leave is to be used. • The Chief Judge or the Chief Judge’s designee shall maintain records of those notifications. • No Judge shall be entitled to be paid for those hours ofjudicial annual leave not taken within a calendar year • This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect until further Order of the Court. • This Administrative Order shall be recorded in the Official Records of Duval, Clay • OR BK 13138 PAGE 1644 and Nassau Counties in the State of Florida, and certified copies of the same shall be furnished by the Clerks of each Court to each local Bar Association.
