Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 2018-06 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • WHEREAS, within the Nassau County Courthouses, a danger to existing security measures occurs when recording by electronic devices captures security features that are in place throughout the Courthouses, sensitive witnesses such as tmdercover police officers and protected witnesses who are required to appear in court, and jurors or potential jurors who are required to appear in the Courthouses; _ , • Electronic shall include taking photographs, filming, videotaping, audiotaping, broadcasting, and telecasting. ' • Other uses of electronic devices shall continue to be govemed by Rule 2.451, Florida • In the event a person fi'orn the general public who does not have written permission to electronically record from the Chief Judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit is found to be recording within the interior of the Nassau County Courthouses in violation of this Order and that person fails to comply with a request to cease recording, that person shall be escorted out of the Nassau County Courthouses and not permitted to return until such time as that person is no longer in possession of any electronic and/or recording devices. • Courthouses pursuant to this order, that action shall not excuse the person fi'om failing to appear in court as required. ' • This order shall 'in no way abrogate or amend Administrative Order 2015-l, • This Administrative Order shall be recorded by the Clerk of Court, in the Official • Records of Nassau County, in the State of Florida, and shall take efl'ect immediately and remain in full force and effect unless and until otherwise ordered by the Court. • Please submit an original copy of this fonn no later than 10 business days before the date on which you would like to record to:
