Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 2018-16 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • Judge to develop an administrative plan that shall be filed with the Florida Supreme Courtwhich shall ensure the prompt disposition of cases, assignment of judges and all other court personnel, control of court dockets, and the regulation and use of courtrooms; • ORDERED, that the following administrative plan shall address the administration and organization of the courts in the Fourth Judicial Circuit: ~ (A) That the Chief Judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit shall be responsible for the following duties as prescribed by Section 43.26, Florida Statutes: ‘ a. • The administrative judges shall be directly responsible for the supervision of courtrooms and calendars, and the effective and efiicient administration of cases within their respective courts or divisions. • The administrative judges must be cognizant of the time standards as set forth in Rule of Judicial Administration 2.250, but must also recognize those cases where exceeding the prescribed time standards is required for the most effective administration of justice. • The administrative judges that will be assigned to each court or division shall be as follows until further order of this Court: a. • That this Administrative Order shall be recorded by the Clerk of Court, in the • Ofifiicial Records of Clay, Duval, and Nassau Counties, in the State of Florida, and shall take effect immediately and remain in full force and effect until otherwise ordered by the Court. • Copies shall be fumished to the Florida Supreme Court and the individuals and entities listed below. - 2 -- 2 of 3 --
