Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 2023-04 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 2023-04 must be amended to designate an alternate for Circuit Court Judge Meredith Charbula; and • WHEREAS, section l02.l4l(l), Florida Statutes, specifies that a county court judge shall chair the county canvassing board. • The statute also specifies that the chief judge of the judicial circuit in which the county is located shall appoint a county court judge as an alternate member of the county canvasing board and shall appoint substitute members of the board in certain circumstances; and • WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Elections and the City Council President must be replaced on the Canvassing Board given their involvement in the election being canvassed; and • Hudson shall be appointed as an altemate to serve as Chair of the Duval County • If, at any time and for any reason, Judge Meredith Charbula is unable to serve as substitute for the Supervisor of Elections, County Court Judge Michael Bateh 2 -- 2 of 3 -- shall be appointed as an alternate to serve as-the Supervisor of Elections on the • Wallace, III, shall be appointed as an alternate to serve on the Duval County Canvassing Board. • This First Amended Administrative Order No. 2023-04 shall be recorded by the • Florida, and shall take effect immediately and remain in full force and effect until further order of the Court. _ +h
