Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 98-7 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • WHEREAS, whenever a petition for writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from involuntary placement has been filed with the Court, the Clerk shall file a petition for writ of habeas corpus in the same Circuit Civil Mental Health file that contains the petition for involuntary placement and/or assessment of such person; and • VVHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 98-7 must be amended to reflect the procedures in place for the Court to review petitions for writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from involuntary placement. . • (1) Any newly submitted petition for writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from involuntary placement shall be filed by the Clerk of Court in the Circuit Civil Mental Health file that contains the petition for involuntary placement of the same person. . • Court shall ensure that the Mental Health file containing such new petition is reviewed immediately by the Magistrate. • Amended Administrative Order No-. 98-7» and shall remain in effect until further. • Court, and all tenns and conditions set forth in this Third Amended Administrative Order shall apply unless otherwise ordered by the Court. • (6) That this Third Amended Administrative Order 98-7 shall be recorded in the Official
