Verbatim from https://www.circuit5.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/m-2025-49-a.pdf, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • Effective January 1, 2026, all jurors reporting for duty in Marion County shall be pooled and subsequently randomly selected and directed to the various courtrooms for jury selection. • Capital cases (cases in which a death sentence may be imposed) shall be included for the purpose of adding to the venire. • Any judge presiding over a capital case, or any other case which may require a need for an increased number of jurors, shall notify the Jury Clerk or his/her designee of the scheduled date of the trial of the case. • Said notification shall be made at least three months prior to the date of the trial. • All jury selections shall take place on Monday or the following Tuesday, if a • The Jury Clerk or his/her designee shall confer with the Administrative Judge as necessary and shall approve and cause to be summoned enough prospective jurors to be examined. • The judge designated below for each respective month shall be responsible for juror qualification and the consideration of requests to be excused from jury duty during that month. • The assignment for service as judge for juror qualification for the year 2026 shall be as follows:
