Verbatim from https://ninthcircuit.org/sites/default/files/AO2021-03-02.pdf, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • Following a careful review the caseloads for Subdivisions 71-H and 80-H shall continue as detailed below and the caseloads for Subdivisions 60-G and 61-G shall be modified as follows: • The Clerk of Court shall continue to assign all new county civil, small claim, and eviction cases based upon all cases with even case numbers assigned to Subdivision 60-G while all cases with odd case numbers assigned to Subdivision 61-G. • All re-opened cases with an even case number shall be redistributed to Subdivision 60-G and all re-opened cases with an odd case number shall be redistributed to Subdivision 61-G. • Going forward, all cases regardless of when they are opened (newly filed or re-opened later) shall be assigned per this odd/even case number system. • Additionally, the Clerk of Court shall Continue to assign all new county criminal, misdemeanor, and traffic cases based upon all cases with even case numbers shall be assigned to • Subdivision 80-H while all cases with odd case numbers shall be assigned 71-H. • Court shall also continue to assign all new county criminal, misdemeanor, and traffic cases based upon all cases with even case numbers shall be assigned to Subdivision 80-H while all cases with • The procedure for assigning cases for defendants with multiple cases shall be that the lowest case number pending against the defendant shall govern the assignment of all of the defendant’s cases, without regard to even and odd case numbers, so that a defendant shall have all active cases in one subdivision.
