COURT STANDING ORDER No. CR-3-19 Class C Assault Charges in the Justice Court Precinct One, Angelina County, Texas DEFENDANT CHARGED WITH ASSAULT, Class C: 1. Officers SHALL submit a probable cause affidavit with the citation when charging a Defendant with Class C offense for assault charges, including assault family violence. 2. This will ensure the court has probable cause for the charge when providing the required “Admonishment” regarding, “it may be unlawful to possess or purchase a firearm, including a handgun or long gun, or ammunition” to the Defendant upon entering a plea of guilty or nolo contendere as required by Art. 27.14(e)(1) CCP.) 3.
