Directs Bexar County Pre-Trial Services and the magistrate judges conducting magistration that all bond conditions, such as GPS monitoring and no-contact orders, remain in effect for every bond posted by a defendant in a misdemeanor family violence case until final disposition, unless the court directs otherwise by waiver or modification.
Applies to bonds posted in misdemeanor family violence cases assigned to County Courts at Law Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 14 and 15 of Bexar County. Nine judges signed (several have since left the bench); no judge join. Procedural information only; not legal advice.

STANDING ORDER ON BOND CONDITIONS FOR MISDEMEANOR FAMILY VIOLENCE CASES This Standing Order of the County Courts hearing misdemeanor family violence cases, is intended to direct the Bexar County Pre-trial Services office and Bexar County Magistrate Judges conducting magistration duties as follows: All bond conditions such as GPS and No Contact Orders shall remain in effect for every bond posted by a Defendant in a particular case until the final disposition of the case unless otherwise directed by the court (such as waivers, modifications, etc.). It is ORDERED that this Order be filed for record with the County Clerk of Bexar County. Standing order of the 109th Judicial District Court for every pending or later-filed case in Andrews, Winkler and Crane Counties: any attorney or self-represented litigant who uses any form of artificial intelligence for legal research or drafting in a case must, before using AI-generated information in a court submission or proceeding, sign and submit the court's certification form stating that all language, quotations, sources, citations, arguments and legal analysis created or contributed to by generative AI were verified as accurate by a human through traditional (non-AI) legal sources, and acknowledging responsibility and potential sanctions for their or their co-counsel's failure to comply. Effective immediately; in effect until rescinded or replaced.
