REFERRAL ORDER / AJ Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region of Texas GENERAL ORDER OF REFERRAL FOR CHILD PROTECTION CASES TO THE COASTAL BEND CHILDREN’S COURT The Texas Family Code anticipates that by either a general order for each county served by the judge of the court served or by a general order issued by the presiding judge of the region, all child protection cases shall be referred to the associate judge who has been appointed under Subchapter C of the Code. Associate Judge Jamie Rawlinson was appointed by the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region of Texas to hear child protection cases in Fort Bend County, Texas in the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region. The Court ORDERS that all child protection cases be referred to the Coastal Bend Children’s Court from all courts in Fort Bend County which is located in the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region, including but not limited to requests for participation in services and family-based services cases from the 328th, 387th and 505th Judicial District Courts. The cases are hereby assigned to Associate Judge, Jamie Rawlinson. The Court ORDERS that, when dealing with all cases referred to her, Judge Rawlinson shall have all the express, implied or inherent powers, duties, and authority of an associate judge for child protection cases under Subchapter C of the Texas Family Code.
