When electronic monitoring (including SCRAM or GPS devices) is ordered as a condition of bond and the defendant is subject to holds from another county, and no order expressly requires installation before release, the monitoring device must be installed within 24 hours of the defendant's release from the custody of the county holding or transporting the defendant. Approved by the Fort Bend County Council of Judges June 26, 2024; filed July 5, 2024 (district and county registrations).
