RULE 7.26 — PERSONAL IDENTIFIERS. The clerk of the court shall reject for filing any application or document to be filed in probate or in guardianship that includes personal identifiers including but not limited to social security numbers, driver license numbers and financial account numbers. Except in guardianship proceedings, any date of birth to be filed in any document shall contain only the month and the year of birth, omitting the actual day date of birth. In the case of account and personal identifier numbers, the last four numbers of any account or personal identifier numbers listed in a document to be filed with clerk may be used as identifiers. This rule is created by Order of the Fort Bend County Board of County Court at Law Judges effective July 1, 2006 by action of the judges on the 24th day of May 2006; an original order with signatures of the judges was submitted for approval to the Texas Supreme Court and a second original is on file with the Fort Bend County Clerk's office.
