Local rule of the 8th Judicial District Court in Franklin County on newly indicted cases: the court will not permit waiver of arraignment for felony DWI cases unless the attorney provides proof the defendant has complied with the bond condition requiring an ignition interlock device, and will not permit waiver of arraignment for assaultive offenses (chapters 19, 20, 20A, 21, 22, 25 or 29 of the Penal Code) unless the State and the defendant have agreed to conditions of bond.
