This documentation shall reflect all acts and output generated and shall be made available in hard copy and/or digital fonnat for perusal. … The jury wheel must be reconstituted by using, as the source: a. … The Galveston County Voter Registration Officer shall perfonn the duties assigned by the Office of the Secretary of State, at the legally prescribed time, and upload files containing the appropriate juror infonnation to the Office of the Secretary of State file transfer protocol site for upload. … The Texas Department of Public Safety shall furnish their list to the Secretary ofState annually. … The Secretary ofState will provide, in alphabetical order, a listing entered on computer readable media, which shall constitute the "Galveston County Prospective Juror File" on an annual basis. … On an annual basis, the District Clerk shall cause the names on the "Galveston County Prospective Juror File" to be randomized and recorded on computer readable media in a format determined by the District Clerk. … This randomized file shall be known as the "Galveston County Jury Wheel". … In addition, the District Clerk shall cause at least two (2) copies of the "Galveston County Jury Wheel" to be created. … The District Clerk shall identify the media and files containing the original and duplicate "Galveston County Jury Wheel" by a unique marking and shall certify these media for use in the creation of a "Galveston County Juror Database". … One copy of the "Galveston County Jury Wheel" will be sent to the current jury system vendor engaged by the District Clerk for the creation of a suitable database. … The "Galveston County Juror Database" shall be used in the selection of jurors as required under the direction of the District Clerk. … Once the vendor has created the "Galveston County Juror Database", it shall be loaded on the Galveston County information technology jury server by a person authorized by the Galveston County Information Department and trained to perform that function. … One (t) copy ofthe computer readable media containing the certified list ofprospective jurors known as the "Galveston County Juror Database", shall be kept in a safe and secure place in Galveston County having been selected by the District Clerk. … The District Clerk shall cause the prospective jurors selected by the above method to be printed out on a list showing names and addresses of person to be summoned on a particular date, or make the same available in a digital format. … The District Clerk shall be responsible for the preparation and printing of the written petit and grand jury summons. … Summons will be mailed by the Galveston County Sheriffs Department for each designated jury week by First Class mail pursuant to Section 62.013 of the Government Code.
