Galveston County has created the Hope Drug Court as a diversion court for defendants charged with offenses related to possession and use of illegal drugs. The undersigned Judges of the District Courts of Galveston County hereby ORDER that Judge John Ellisor (retired) is authorized to handle all appropriate cases referred to the Galveston County Hope Drug Court by those District Courts, and to deal with any and all issues relating to the operation of the Galveston County Hope Drug Court. Signed January 3, 2023 by the judges of the 10th, 56th, 122nd, 212th, 306th, and 405th District Courts.
