Order of the Guadalupe County Statutory County Courts at Law Judges Finding Areas Essential to Operations of Their Courts. The judges find that the following are essential to the operations of their Courts: all County Court at Law courtrooms; all auxiliary courtrooms used by administrative, visiting, or constitutional county judges in their judicial function; all judges' chambers; all jury rooms; court administrators' and court reporters' offices; county clerks' offices; all offices related to the administration of the courts; attorney consultation rooms; break rooms; restrooms used by jurors, parties and attorneys; and all hallways, stairwells, elevators or common areas in the Guadalupe County Justice Center used to access any of the foregoing and used as waiting areas for jurors, witnesses and parties. The order provides the basis under Texas law for controlling access to, and prohibiting weapons in, those areas essential to the courts' operations.
