Local rule of Justice Court Precinct 4: from April 1, 2025 electronic communication is mandatory in all cases - every communication between the court and litigants goes by E-File Texas (preferred), e-mail or fax and must include a valid e-mail address; self-represented litigants and attorneys are both required to communicate electronically; notices, copies, judgments and other documents come from the court's JP4court e-mail address, which litigants are encouraged to add to their contacts; litigants must tell the court at once of any change of e-mail address.
