In the 43rd District Court the dress code and guidelines prohibit facial jewelry, flip-flops, hats and t-shirts; men wear long pants and a tucked-in shirt and women cover their shoulders and midsection; no food, drink or weapon; devices are silenced; and no children are allowed except in adoptions. No photography or audio-visual recording of any type is permitted without prior order of the court.
