Travis County Probate Court Administrative Order Granting Release of Protected Health Information. Consistent with HIPAA (45 CFR 164.512(e), authorizing disclosure of protected health information in a judicial proceeding in response to a court order) and the Texas Health and Safety Code, the Order grants the release of protected health information in guardianship and mental-health proceedings before the Travis County Probate Court to the Court and the persons identified in the Order, so that the health information necessary for the proceeding is available while its confidentiality is otherwise preserved.
