Tex. Ins. Code § 4051.053 · Subchapter B. GENERAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY LICENSE
AUTHORITY TO WRITE CERTAIN ACCIDENT AND HEALTH INSURANCE.

A person who holds a general property and casualty license may, without holding a license under Chapter 4054, write health and accident insurance for a property and casualty insurer authorized to sell those insurance products in this state.
