It warns that generative AI systems (ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI, Bing and others) are unreliable, prone to bias, and often fabricate information, and requires every self-represented litigant and attorney who uses AI for legal research or drafting to sign and file the attached certification before using AI-generated information — certifying that all AI-created language, quotations, sources, citations, arguments and legal analysis were verified as accurate through traditional non-AI legal sources by a licensed human, and acknowledging responsibility and potential sanctions for noncompliance. Signed July 22, 2026, effective immediately.
