UNVERIFIED
The 2022 order remains on the AO index and is not expressly rescinded in captured text, but the current family services page names only Holly Aliprandi. Possible dual/stale appointment; not resolved by public sources.
ORDER-NAMED, CURRENT SERVICE UNVERIFIED: this officer is named in a hashed administrative order in BenchPath custody, but the circuit does not list them on any current live page. Published at medium confidence with an open review task rather than dropped — an order-named officer the court has stopped listing is exactly the kind of fact a practitioner needs and a directory scrape loses.
Captured verbatim from the court's own published pages and orders during circuit verification. Chambers practices change without notice — confirm anything time-critical with the judicial assistant. Procedural information only; not legal advice.
No verified ruling summary yet — summaries publish only after human review of a real opinion/docket corpus. The live scan below covers what public sources hold today.

16th Cir. Admin. Order 2.004/26-2 (signed June 24, 2026; eff. July 1–Dec. 31, 2026), pp. 4-5
AO 2.004/26-2 (Circuit Court Division Assignments; Official Headquarters), signed June 24, 2026 by Chief Judge Timothy J. Koenig, sets every circuit judge's division and official headquarters for July 1 through December 31, 2026, and rescinds AO 2.004/26-1 on July 1, 2026. Official headquarters: Jones, Koenig and Helms in Key West; Morgan at Plantation Key. County assignments run under AO 2.005/25-2 (eff. Oct 20, 2025), and all four county judges additionally carry temporary all-division circuit authority under AO 12.003/26-2 for the same period. NOTE: this order is EXPRESSLY TERM-LIMITED and expires December 31, 2026.
16th Cir. Admin. Orders 2.085 and 5.041 (p. 1)
AO 2.085 (Appointment of General Magistrate in Court Proceedings) and AO 5.041 (Appointment of General Magistrate for Family Court Proceedings) frame magistrate referrals for family, circuit civil, mental health and probate matters. Holly Aliprandi is the circuit's General Magistrate — she appears in the court's judge REST collection as its ninth record but is NOT a judge. AO 5.041 also records that Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.250 sets a presumptively reasonable six-month disposition time for contested family-law cases.
16th Cir. Admin. Order 2.088; see also AO 2.083 p. 3
AO 2.088 (Submission of Proposed Orders to the Judiciary) sets the circuit-wide procedure for transmitting proposed orders to Monroe County judges. Read with AO 2.083 (Electronic Filing of Documents), which at page 3 recognizes that an individual judge may impose a page limitation — though BenchPath found NO numeric page limit published on any of the nine judge profiles.
16th Cir. Admin. Order 3.010 (eff. Jan. 1, 2025), pp. 1-2, 6, 9
AO 3.010 (Order Adopting and Implementing the Civil Differentiated Case Management Plan), effective January 1, 2025, expressly rescinded the prior plan AO 2.072/21-1. It requires the PRESIDING JUDGE — not counsel — to review each covered civil case and assign it to the complex, streamlined, or general track by entering an initial case-management order within 120 days after commencement. Streamlined cases project trial at 310 days from filing; general cases at 480 days.
16th Cir. Admin. Order 3.010, p. 2
AO 3.010 imposes no at-filing form on counsel, but once service is obtained the plaintiff's attorney must serve a copy of the case-management order on each defendant, and must serve any new party within five days of service of pleadings on that party.
Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.514
How Florida procedural deadlines are computed: exclude the trigger day; count every day for periods of 7 days or more; for periods under 7 days, skip intermediate weekends and legal holidays; roll forward when the last day is a weekend or holiday.
Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.202
Under the 2025 case-management amendments, a movant must confer with the opposing party in a good-faith effort to resolve a nondispositive motion before filing it, and must include a certificate of conferral.
Fla. Fam. L. R. P. 12.610; § 741.30, Fla. Stat.
A DV injunction petition is reviewed promptly; the court may issue a temporary injunction ex parte, and when it does, a full evidentiary hearing is generally set within 15 days. There is no filing fee.
Florida Courts E-Filing Portal; Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.525
Florida attorneys must file court documents electronically through the statewide Florida Courts E-Filing Portal (myflcourtaccess.com). Self-represented litigants may e-file through the same portal. Local circuits layer their own formatting and routing quirks on top.
Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.516
Service of pleadings and documents after the initial pleading is made by e-mail — in practice through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal's e-service feature — to the designated service addresses on file.
BenchPath statewide AI stale-publication audit, July 22, 2026 (53 sources re-fetched and sha256-hashed; evidence in repo docs/handoff/ai-audit-2026-07/)
Only Rule 2.515(d)(2) binds you statewide. Five circuits rescinded their AI orders outright — but the SEVENTH CIRCUIT's G-2026-045-SC has never been rescinded and is still posted with sanctions language. It is preempted and unenforceable, yet it remains the circuit's most recent general administrative order. Dozens of judge pages statewide also still publish AI mandates.
Fla. Fam. L. R. P. 12.285
Parties in dissolution and most family financial cases must exchange a financial affidavit and specified financial documents within 45 days of service of the initial pleading, file a certificate of compliance, and supplement as circumstances change.
Fla. R. App. P. 9.110
An appeal of a final order must be commenced by filing a notice of appeal within 30 days of rendition of the order. This deadline is jurisdictional — missing it generally ends the appeal.
Fla. Sm. Cl. R. 7.090
Small claims cases (up to $8,000) begin with a mandatory pretrial conference where the court narrows issues and typically orders mediation. Failure to appear can result in default or dismissal.
In re: Amends. to Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.515, No. SC2026-0673 (Fla. May 28, 2026); Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.515(d)(2); AOSC26-12
Effective June 15, 2026, every signer of a Florida court filing — attorney or self-represented — represents that "the legal authorities identified exist and are accurately cited," with express sanctions (reprimand, contempt, striking, dismissal, costs, fees) for violations. Companion order AOSC26-12 preempts ALL circuit- and judge-level AI disclosure/certification requirements.
Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.510
Florida follows the federal summary-judgment standard. The motion must be served at least 40 days before the hearing; the nonmovant's response is due no later than 20 days before the hearing.
