Verbatim from the operative section of Eleventh Circuit administrative order 81-21, harvested 2026-08-02; whitespace normalised only. • TIME REQUIREMENT CONCERNING THE FILING OF NOTICES OF HEARING IN CIVIL ACTIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 81-21 _____________________________ PURSUANT to the authority vested in me as Chief Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and pursuant to the requirements of Rules 1.080 (d) and 1.090 (d) of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, the following shall be adhered to in Civil Actions filed in this Circuit: • All notices of hearing on Motions and other matters must be filed with the Clerk of the Court, where the action is pending, no later than three (3) working days prior to the scheduled hearing. • This order shall apply to those cases governed by the Florida Rules of Summary Procedure where those Rules require a hearing on a motion with notice or where the Court requires a hearing on a motion with notice. • This order relates to the filing of said notices and in no way shall be construed as changing any time period for service of pleadings as required by the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
