As previously stated, the court will not entertain motion(s) that have not been properly e-filed and validated by the Clerk of Courts and all copies have been distributed to all pertaining parties. All Agreed and Unopposed Orders shall be titled as such. Proposed Orders shall always be made available for the Judge’s consideration. If you are requesting a Continuance of your set hearing, please submit your request no later than 2 business days prior to the scheduled hearing.

Florida follows the federal summary-judgment standard. The motion must be served at least 40 days before the hearing; the nonmovant's response is due no later than 20 days before the hearing.
