Verbatim from Fourth Circuit administrative order 2012-03 as published by the Duval County Clerk, harvested 2026-07-26; whitespace normalised only. • WHEREAS, Florida Rules Civil Procedure l.3l0(f)(3) permits copies of depositions to be filed only when the contents must be considered by the court or ordered by the court to be filed; and • (l) The following procedure shall be observed and followed in Duval County, Florida by all litigants. • (a) No depositions in any civil cases shall be filed with the Clerk of Court except as hereafter permitted. • (b) Parties who wish to present deposition evidence at any hearing or trial shall bring the original or certified copy to court for the judge’s use and shall provide a copy to opposing cotmsel, if needed, and as required by the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. • (2) This Administrative Order shall be effective at 12:01 A.M. • May 28, 2012 and shall apply to all depositions in civil cases that are filed in Duval County, Florida. l -- 1 of 2 -- • OR BK 15942 PAGE 487 0 ’ t (3) This Administrative Order shall be recorded by the Clerk of Court, in the official records of Duval County, State of Florida, and shall take effect as set forth above and remain in full force and effect unless and until otherwise ordered by the Court.
