Verbatim from https://ninthcircuit.org/sites/default/files/AO2022-21-01.pdf, harvested 2026-07-25; whitespace normalised only. • The Clerk shall immediately divide the existing juvenile cases among subdivisions 10-A, 11-A, 12-A equally and randomly at 33.33% per subdivision to include closed cases that are still on probation. • Effective January 2, 2023, the Clerk shall assign cases sequentially between subdivisions 10-A, 11-A, and 12-A at the time they are given a case number. • Beginning January 2, 2023, the Clerk shall assign Jimmy Ryce cases sequentially between subdivisions 10-A, 11-A, and 12-A. • Competency cases shall be assigned to subdivision 13-A after a finding of incompetence and a conditional release/state hospitalization. • The Clerk shall immediately and randomly re-assign 8.5% of the existing domestic relations caseload from both subdivision 30-C and 40-C to subdivision 43-C. • The Clerk shall take care to ensure that no case with a hearing set within the next sixty (60) days from the date of this Order, or a case awaiting a court order is transferred. • Effective January 2, 2023, the Clerk shall assign cases sequentially.
