Local Rules of Court of the District Courts (33rd and 424th Judicial Districts) and the County Court at Law of the Counties of Blanco, Burnet, Llano and San Saba (updated January 2023). I. GENERAL RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL DISTRICT COURTS AND THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW: decorum; uncontested docket; temporary restraining orders and other cases of extraordinary relief; hearings conducted by telephone; vacation of counsel; local presiding judge; and the Rules of Administration of the Third Administrative Judicial Region. II. FAMILY LAW RULES: general rules; setting the case; ancillary family law orders; pre-trial procedures; dismissal docket; and judicial bypass of parental notification ('Jane Doe' cases). III. CIVIL RULES: general rules; setting the case; pre-trial procedures; and dismissal docket. IV. DISTRICT COURT CRIMINAL RULES: general provisions; grand jury terms; assignment of cases; attorney of record; withdrawal of counsel; initial appearance; pre-trial and trial settings; discovery; and probation intake. V. COUNTY COURT AT LAW CRIMINAL RULES: general provisions; attorney of record; withdrawal of counsel; initial appearance; and pre-trial and trial setting (the County Court at Law was of only Burnet County at the time of adoption).
