The Waller County Court at Law No. 1’s own local rules, policies, procedures and rules of decorum (filed August 21, 2026), adopted to ensure uniformity of proceedings and public confidence. Section I governs behavior, decorum and dress — observance of the Texas Lawyer’s Creed and Code of Professional Responsibility by all participants (pro se litigants included), open proceedings except sealed juvenile/CPS matters, gallery conduct, use of attorney conference rooms, and silenced cell phones — with failure to comply subject to removal, sanctions or contempt.

Approves the National Highway Safety Council Defensive Driving course as a school to which traffic courts may require attendance (Fla. R. Traf. Ct. 6.110(a)).
Designates the D.W.I. Counterattack School (Broward County Commission on Alcoholism) as an approved school for court-ordered attendance (Fla. R. Traf. Ct. 6.110(a)).
