Judge Alane Laboda received her Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami. Judge Laboda began her career at the State Attorney's Office in Lee County. Thereafter, she joined the law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes, and Holt, P.A., where she practiced as a partner in the areas of criminal and civil litigation.
Judge Laboda was appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida to the Circuit Court Bench. Since her appointment, she has had the opportunity to preside over multiple divisions in several different counties in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. From 2015 through 2023, she served as Administrative Judge in the General Civil, Guardianship and Probate Division in Lee County.
