This restriction also applies to Judge Powell’s Judicial Assistant, Reena Bozich (other than a request for hearing time). Judge Powell will not discuss his cases with any party for any reason, outside of a hearing in the courtroom. Furthermore, Mrs. Bozich is prohibited from relaying messages from a litigant or other individuals to Judge Powell.
